Priaulx and Müller to Petit Le Mans

World Touring Car Championship BMW front runners Andy Priaulx and Jörg Müller are going to join the Petit Le Mans race at Road Atlanta in the final weekend of September.
“Andy and Jorg were chosen to join us at Petit due to their base of experience with the M3 GT2 and their aptitudes which match those of our full-season drivers,” said Martin Birkmann of BMW North America.

The both are going to drive the GT2 specification BMW M3 for the Rahal Letterman team.

Priaulx, who makes his Petit Le Mans debut, is going to drive the number 90 car with Bill Auberlen and Joey Hand.

Müller, who has done a lot of Petit Le Mans races before, is going to drive the number 92 car with Dirk Müller and Tommy Milner.

“Their collective experience in WTCC perfectly rounds out our team,” said Birkmann.
