Chevrolet’s Rob Huff has lead the final practice session ahead of this afternoon’s qualifying session, leading BMW driver Andy Priaulx.
Despite carrying an additional ballast of 40kg, Chevrolet and SEAT have led the way in both the Saturday practice sessions, with Tarquini clocking the best time this morning of 2:01.047. Huff set the fastest time in session two, of 2:01.685.
There’s nothing in it between the three marques, with BMW’s unballasted BMW still running at the front with Andy Priaulx setting the second fastest time. Tarquini was third in the SEAT in the second practice session, with Menu & Muller rounding out the top five.
Fredy Barth was the fastest rookie in the TDI León in sixth, whilst the top independent was Wiechers-Sport’s Mehdi Bennani in 12th.
