Camirand celebrates ninth career win at GP3R

Marc-Antoine Camirand took a record beating nine wins at the Grand Prix de Trois Rivières circuit, and his third win of the season in the first race of the weekend.

Camirand started from pole position was unchallenged in the lead, and eventually finished eight seconds clear of the ever improving Hyundai Genesis Coupé of Sasha Anis.

Gary Kwok finished third in his M&S Racing Acura CSX.

“The car was working flawlessly the whole race but closer to the end I started hearing noises here and there from all over the car that started to worry me, but I was sure we had a great car to make it to the end,” said Camirand.
