Lo Ka Chun wins the opening round of the 2011 CTCC

Lo Ka Chun from Kia 778 Racing won the first race of the season in the CTCC Super Production class held in Tian Ma Shan, Shanghai.

Andy Yan and Rainey He driving for the Chang’an Ford FRD Team completed the podium positions.

Race winner Lo Ka Chun’s team-mate Wang Shao Feng retired from the race, as did Wang Rue for the Shanghai VW 333 Racing team.

The Super Production Turbo-charged class cars struggled, with only two drivers completing the race. Gao Hua Yang from Shanghai VW 333 Racing and Chen Liu Ping from FRC Racing finished the race ninth and tenth places.

In the China Production class race, Martin Ma Qing Hu claimed the win for Hyundai, leading all the way with Chen Yu, He Zhi Yan and Lin Li Feng finishing second, third and fourth for the Haima Z1 Racing team.

The second round of the CTCC will be held on May 29th at the Zhuhai International Circuit.
