Delahaye Racing pair Eduoard Mondron and Stéphane Lémeret have taken pole position for race two at Zolder ahead of the Volvo S60 of Vincent Radermecker and Eric van de Poele.

Mondron & Lémeret’s best lap was 1:35.485 in the second session which sets the grid for race two, almost a full second ahead of the Neri Competition Volvo S60.

Race 1 pole-sitters Phillipe Steveny and Didier de Radigues qualified third in their Kia Pro_Cee’d, with Werner van Herck qualifying on the pole in the T3 class and fourth overall in the Mazda3.

The Astur Car SEAT León of Pierre-Yves Rosoux and Pierre Piron suffered an engine failure in the second qualifying session and will need to revert to their spare for tomorrow, sending them to the back of the grid for both races, despite qualifying an impressive third for race one.

Race two takes place at 16:10 CET tomorrow.
