Tomas Engström will race in the 2012 STCC with support from Honda Sweden, starting the year in the ex-Team Dynamics Honda Civic which won this year’s BTCC, with support from long time backers Seco Tools.
The Swedish driver competed a partial season of the STCC in 2011 with a Super 2000 specification Honda Accord, and also competed in the FIA European Touring Car Cup.
For 2012, Engström will start the year with the eighth-generation Honda Civic, with the plan being to upgrade to the new model from the third round of the Championship at Gothenberg.
