Tony Gilham has announced that he is going to race an ex-Team Dynamics Honda Civic in the British Touring Car Championship this year.
“Obviously I’m massively excited to have got my hands on one of the title-winning Hondas. Last year was a huge learning curve for me with a number of low points, but now I’ll be in a proven car and can’t wait to get going,” said Gilham to btcc.net.
Gilham has bought the Honda Civic that Gordon Shedden took to second in the championship last year and will receive technical support from Team Dynamics.
The 32-year-old raced a Vauxhall Vectra for Triple Eight Race Engineering and later a BMW 320si by Geoff Steel Racing in the championship last year, finishing 19th overall on 12 points.
