Czech driver Petr Fulín was fastest in the first official ETCC dedicated session at Monza in the Křenek Motorsport BMW 320si, with Fernando Monje second in the SUNRED SEAT León TDI.
Only 14 of the 23 cars entered this weekend decided to take part in the first one hour session, with a second scheduled for this afternoon.
Fulín lead the way with a time of 2:02.404, almost half a second faster than Fernando Monje’s SEAT León TDI, entered by SUNRED Engineering this weekend.
Igor Skuz was third fastest in the Liqui Moly Team Engstler BMW 320si, just over two seconds adrift.
Stian Paulsen was fourth fastest overall and the fastest of the three drivers competing in the Single Make Trophy for SEAT León Supercopa cars.
The fastest of the S1600 cars was that of Team Ravenol/GENA Autosport’s Kevin Krammes, and was 11th fastest overall. None of the three cars entered in the Super Production category took part in the session.
