Daniel Haglöf to drive the fourth Saab 9-3 in TTA

Daniel Haglöf will drive for PWR Racing/Team Tidö in the #37 Saab 9-3 in the inaugural Racing Elite League season in a car which will be prepared by the Flash Engineering team.

“We have worked hard during the winter to get this ready and I am looking forward to take on the best drivers in Sweden in the Racing Elite League,” said Haglöf.

Haglöf will race for PWR Racing, a satellite operation run with support from Flash Engineering, which will also support Team Tidö and Linus Ohlsson as well as running two Saab 9-3s for Team Principal Jan ‘Flash’ Nilsson and former MA:GP driver and team owner Mattias Andersson.

“It is amazing that drivers like Daniel Haglöf get a drive in TTA,” said Nilsson. “There is no doubt that Daniel has shown his competence as driver and should be ranked as one of the 15 quickest Swedish drivers for the past 10 years.”

The 33-year-old finished as runner-up in the 2006 Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia and also raced in last year’s Porsche Cup after three years in the MINI Challenge series in Germany, winning the title in 2009.

Haglöf completes the driver line-up in the TTA’s four Saabs, which leaves Brovellen Design left to confirm who will race their three remaining Citroën C5s alongside Stefan Söderberg.
