Tony Johansson completes the entry list for the 2012 Scandinavian Touring Car Championship, featuring 14 cars.
“Tony is a quick driver but his resources has not allowed any major programs. He fits perfectly for our program as he is a good driver and a nice guy,” said Roland Gingtorp, Team Manager of Team G-Rex.
Johansson is going to drive a S2000 specification Mercedes C-Class with a naturally aspirated engine, the very car G-Rex built for Brovallen Design in 2004.
G-Rex and Johansson took part in selected races of STCC 2009 and 2010, with 10th as best result.
The entry of Johansson completes the STCC entry list to a total of 14 cars ahead of the season start at Mantorp Park next weekend.
