Andreas Pfister was fastest in the first test session for the FIA European Touring Car Cup at Salzburgring. The SEAT León Cup car driver was close to eight tenths faster than best S2000 driver in the form of newly signed SUNRED Engineering driver Igor Skuz.
SEAT cars occupied all top three positions with Fernando Monje in third, just 0.013 seconds ahead of best BMW driver Aytac Biter in fourth.
Peter Fulin was fifth fastest, with fellow BMW driver Matej Homola in sixth. Peter Rikli in the Honda Civic DF recorded the seventh fastest time ahead of Christian Fischer and Jaromir Stadler, close to five seconds from the best time of the session.
Best S1600 driver was Paolo Necchi in 11th overall, with closest rival Ulrike Krafft right behind in 12th overall. No Super Production cars took part in the session.
