Dahlgren secures Volvo 1-2 at Anderstorp

Robert Dahlgren secured a Volvo 1-2 in the TTA – Racing Elite League qualifying session at Anderstorp Raceway.
“The qualifying went really well and I am so pleased to start first in the race,” said Dahlgren.

Fredrik Ekblom made it two Volvos in the top two, two tenths behind his manufacturer colleague.

Robin Rudholm was best Saab driver for Flash Engineering in third, just 0.076 seconds behind Ekblom.
“I am pleased, we had a good strategy in the session that worked. Third is a good position for the start and I am going for the win,” said Rudholm.

Fredrik Larsson was best BMW driver in fourth ahead of TTA newcomer and Citroën driver Alx Danielsson in fifth.
“I am a bit mad at my self, the rear tyres didn’t last for the entire lap so the final part of my best lap was really tricky. But fifth is nice nonetheless,” said Danielsson.

Tommy Rustad claimed sixth position ahead of Stefan Söderberg and championship leader Linus Ohlsson. Andreas Ebbesson and Thed Björk rounded off the top ten.

Richard Göransson was stranded in the pits for the majority of the session due to going off on his very first lap. The BMW SR driver only managed one flying lap, enough for 11th on the grid.
