Superstars Pergusa race moved to the end of October

The scheduled round of the International Superstars Series due to take place this weekend at Pergusa has been moved to the end of October, and will now be the penultimate round of the season.

Pergusa was due to host this weekend’s round of the championship, itself filling in for the postponed race which was to take place at Portimão, which will now take place in the 2013 season.

A revision posted by the Superstars Series now confirms that Pergusa will hold the penultimate round of the championship on October 28th, with the season finale being held two weeks later than planned at the Sentul circuit in Indonesia on 25th November.

The series is currently led by Italian former Formula One driver Vitantonio Liuzzi in the CAAL Racing Mercedes C63, with Swedish driver Johan Kristoffersson 19 points behind in his KMS-run Audi RS5 and Thomas Biagi three points behind driving for BMW Team Dinamic.
