Max Mugelli confirmed at Team Dinamic

Max Mugelli has been confirmed with Team Dinamic for the upcoming Superstars Series season. The Italian had already been at the wheel of one of the team’s BMW M3 E92s for the last two races of 2012, claiming a podium in Vallelunga. Mugelli had started the season with a CAAL Racing Mercedes, but had struggled all year before making a switch, which turned out to be positive.

I’m really happy with the choice for 2013, said Mugelli.

When I first drove the car in Vallelunga last year I immediately thought that could be the right choice for this season. I was immediately impressed by the team’s technical qualities as well as its human resources.

Team Dinamic are working on the developement of the car.

We know we are lacking top speed compared to Mercedes, Chevrolet, Maserati or Jaguar, but we can count on a great realiability and good handling. These will be our ‘weapons’ against the Audis, which are sometimes uncatchable due to the four wheel drive. I hope the new balance of performance and the 20 kilos of weight they took away from our car will help us compared to last year.

Maurizio Lusuardi, Team Dinamic’s team owner, is equally happy to have Mugelli on board.

I’m happy to have him for the whole season!”, said Lusuardi. “His podium in Vallelunga at his maiden race on the BMW M3 E92 showed his potential, and hopefully it will grow through the season. He is quick and experienced, and after a disappointing 2012 season he will be more motivated than ever to turn that around.
