Steven Richards signed for Triple Eight enduro line-up

Triple Eight Race Engineering has signed three-time Bathurst 1000 winner Steven Richard for their 2014 V8 Supercars enduro line-up.
“It’s great to announce that I’ll be driving with Red Bull Racing Australia and Triple Eight Race Engineering for two seasons,” said Richards.

Richards is going to drive together with Craig Lowndes in the endurance races Sandown 500, Bathurst 1000 and Gold Coast 600 for the two coming seasons.
“He has a wealth of experience that is invaluable during these intense races. With three Bathurst 1000 wins under his belt, he’s the perfect driver to partner Craig next year, and his win this season at the Mountain proved that he’s got what it takes to deliver us the best results possible,” said team principle Roland Dane.

Paul Dumbrell is going to continue with Jamie Whincup as co-driver for the endurance races, just as for the two past seasons.
“To be joining Red Bull Racing Australia and Jamie again next year is fantastic. We’ve had a really good run together and I’m looking forward to trying to continue that. I can’t wait to have a stab at winning back our Bathurst crown!” said Dumbrell said.
