Rob Austin Racing reveals 2014 BTCC design and new title sponsor

Rob Austin Racing revealed their new design and title sponsor for the 2014 British Touring Car Championship at the Autosport International Show today. Fast Exocet has signed a two-year title sponsorship deal for one of the Audi A4s of the team.

”2014 will see a much increased sponsorship deal with the team: one car will be entered under Exocet Racing banner and carry insignia similar to that shown at Brands Hatch for the last meeting of the 2013 season. With very probably the biggest and most loyal fanbase of anyone on the BTCC grid, the huge buzz and excitement around the team generally and, of course, increasingly competitive results on the track, Rob Austin Racing are the ideal choice to achieve our targets,” said Neil Ryding, Fast Exocet Managing Director.

The team will run a pair of Audi A4s in the 2014 BTCC season, just as last year, with Rob Austin behind the wheel.

”These are massively exciting times for our team. Fast Exocet’s input is going to play a vital role in our results in 2014 and I know our brilliant fans will get right behind them as we seek to challenge for podiums and race wins together at every BTCC event in 2014,” said Austin.

The second driver is so far not confirmed, but the team has stated that they are looking to keep Jake Hill who took part in two race weekends last year for them.
