Pepe Oriola set for test at Montmeló

Pepe Oriola is going to complete a test at Montmeló later this week ahead of the 2014 FIA World Touring Car Championship season.
“We continue to work to establish our programme for the 2014 season, in which my goal is to continue in the WTCC. This is not easy due to the increased costs because of the change in the technical regulations,” said Oriola.

While it has not been confirmed which car Oriola is going to drive at the test, it is understood that the Spaniard is set to drive for the new Onyx Race Engineering team this season.

“Meanwhile, it is important to remain focused and work both the physical and the mental aspects, so this test will be very important. It’s been two and a half months since the season ended, so I’m looking forward to getting back behind the wheel of a racing car,” said Oriola.

The WTCC Honda team is also going to take part in the test at Montmeló on Wednesday this week.
