Yokohama returns as tyre supplier for STCC

Yokohama are back as tyre suppliers for the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship for the 2014 season, replacing Hankook.

Yokohama took over as sole STCC tyre supplier from Michelin in 2009. When the split between STCC and TTA occurred in 2012, the new TTA championship went with Hankook, a deal continuing after STCC and TTA were reunited in 2013.

The switch back to Yokohama means a small change in tyre size, going from the Hankook tyres which were 260/660-18 front and 280/660-18 rear to the Yokohama tyres which are 250/650-18 front and 280/650-18 rear.
