Oschersleben gets extended deal until 2016

DTM promoter ITR has signed a new deal with north German circuit Oschersleben which spans up to and including 2016.
“Oschersleben rightly has been an integral part of our race calendar since the birth of ‘new DTM’,” said Hans Werner Aufrecht, Chairman of ITR.

“We always are cordially received, there, and the fans let us feel that DTM has got a truly extraordinary significance in this part of Germany. In addition, the track operators are very professional and work with a lot of passion. In consideration of these facts it was just logical for us to extend the deal up to and including 2016. We are looking forward to the next years of this partnership.”

The circuit, located in the Magdeburger Börde region in Germany, hosts DTM this year on May 16-18.
