Ford confirms three of its drivers for the 2014 CTCC season

The Chang’an Ford FRD Team has confirmed three of its four drivers for this year’s China Touring Car Championship season, with Rainey He, Andy Yan and Martin Xie remaining with the team.

Andy Yan won his second CTCC drivers’ title last season behind the wheel of the team’s Ford Focus saloon, and also starred in the Macau Touring Car Cup during the 60th anniversary event last season.

“Since joining the team back in 2009, I have been trying to improve my performance together with the whole team,” said Yan. “Our goal is to win the seventh championship this year. We understand that the opposition will try everything in the book to slow us down but when the going gets tough, the tough gets going.”
