Nevs joins PWR Racing for 2014 STCC

Nevs has started a cooperation with PWR Racing for the 2014 Scandinavian Touring Car Championship season. Nevs (National Electric Vehicle Sweden AB) acquired the assets of Saab after its bankruptcy and has recently started the production of the 9-3 model in Sweden.

”I am very happy that we have got the trust to drive Saab 9-3 and represent Nevs in STCC. We have both got a future vision for the cooperation and a common view on what to expect during the season,” said driver Daniel Haglöf.

The team ran one Saab 9-3 for Haglöf, who finished ninth overall, last year while the driver line-up for 2014 is yet to be revealed.

”It is an exciting driver line-up, that is as much as I can say and that is one of the reasons that we want to be onboard on this programme,” said Jonas Hernqvist, Marketing Director of Nevs.

The team has confirmed that the driver line-up will be revealed later this month.
