Mattias Andersson and Dacia continues to climb with consistency

Dacia Dealer Team driver Mattias Andersson continues to climb the championship standings and is currently fourth after an impressive run of consistency in the first six STCC races of 2014.
”We have been on the podium for two race weekends in a row and I have also started to qualify well, that has been a weak point for me with these cars in the past,” said Andersson.

Andersson scored his best ever qualifying result for Dacia at Falkenberg with second place on the grid for the second race. The Dacia driver lost one place in the race, but was happy to score his second podium in four races.
”I am very much pleased with the weekend. We qualified well, claimed a podium and scored more points than ever before,” said Andersson.

The 41-year-old’s worst so far finish is fifth this season and is currently fourth in the championship, 11 points behind reigning champion Thed Björk.
”My strength is that I often finish the races and keep scoring points. We have been among the first five in each race so far this year and that is proof that our consistency is there,” said Andersson.
