Marc Hynes sent to back of grid for third race

Marc Hynes has been sent to the back of the grid for the third race of the day at Knockhill.

The Triple Eight driver, who finished race two in 22nd place, was given a reprimand for an incident during the race. As it was his third penalty of the season, he will start the final encounter at the back.

West Surrey Racing’s Nick Foster has also been given a reprimand for contact with Glynn Geddie in race one, but no action was taken over his incident with Aron Smith in race two.

Further engine penalties have also been handed out this weekend, for exceeding the two engine changes permitted during the season.

Welch Motorsport have been deducted 20 points in the teams’ championship, as both Ollie Jackson and Dan Welch have changed engines again this weekend. They were deducted 30 points at Snetterton for the same offence.

BTC Racing have also been deducted a further 10 points for the same offence, after also losing 10 points at Snetterton.
