Daniel Haglöf returns in second PWR Racing Saab

Daniel Haglöf returns behind the wheel as driver in the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship races at Solvalla this weekend.
”This is of course positive for us as a team and a show of strength to get two cars on the grid this weekend,” said Haglöf.

Haglöf is going to drive a second PWR Racing Saab 9-3 alongside regular driver Emma Kimiläinen at Solvalla. Haglöf stepped back as driver after the 2013 season, where he finished ninth overall with third as best individual result, and assumed the role as team manager instead.

One of the main missions for Haglöf, according to the team’s press release, is for him to defend Kimiläinen from the many incidents she has been involved in this season.

”The motto is: ”Don’t touch my driver”. I am going to be a super motivated body guard this weekend. If they go for Emma, they are going to have to deal with me,” said Haglöf.

The second PWR Racing entry brings the STCC field up to 16 cars for the races at Solvalla.
