TCR heads to Russia in 2015

The Russian National Sporting Authority, RAF, has approved the new TCR regulations that will be implemented as a promotional category in the Russian Circuit Racing Series this year.

“One of our teams has already purchased some cars to compete in the TCR category. This year they will participate in the Touring class, competing with the S2000 cars; the RAF has determined a balance of performance for both types of vehicles, RCRS promoter.

The plan is for the TCR regulations to become a unique class of the RCRS from 2016.

”From 2016 the TCR Russian Championship will be a separate class in the Russian Circuit Racing Series,” said Oleg Petrikov.

A calendar and entry list is going to be communicated in due course, according to the TCR organisation.
