New Lada Vesta hits the track at Magny-Cours (video)

The new Lada Vesta has been testing ahead of the FIA World Touring Car Championship launch in Argentina at their based at Magny-Cours, while the official test of the WTCC takes place at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona.

The car, being driven by both James Thompson and Rob Huff during the test, will continue its test programme right up until next Wednesday, when the cars will be air freighted to Termas de Río Hondo.

The Vesta replaces the outgoing Granta, and will feature a yellow, black and orange livery with title sponsorship from Russian oil giant Rosneft.

The team’s drivers are unchanged from last year, with Rob Huff, James Thompson and Mikhail Kozlovskiy driving the three cars.
