Rob Huff to drive in both the Nürburgring 24 Hours and WTCC

Rob Huff has a busy weekend ahead of him next month at the Nürburgring, where the 2012 WTCC champion will drive in both the FIA World Touring Car Championship races and the 24 hour GT race.
“I am very much looking forward to a busy weekend at ‘The Ring’,” said Huff.

Alongside his Lada drive in the WTCC, the Brit is going to drive a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 for Team Premio in the legendary endurance GT race.

“I am thankful to the team and Dunlop for the opportunity to take on the 24 Hour race in front-running machinery, which I think is worthy recognition of my endurance outings last year at the Nordschliefe and elsewhere where I achieved five podiums in six starts, including a second place finish in an SLS at the Dubai 24 Hour race,” said Huff.

The WTCC race takes place on the Saturday morning of the Nürburgring race weekend on May 14-17th, with the 24 hour race starting in the afternoon.

”Knowing both the Mercedes and the track well, I am hoping to settle right in and get a strong result in both the WTCC event and 24 Hour,” added Huff.
