Matías Rossi claims pole position for Toyota in Oberá

Toyota Team Argentina’s Matías Rossi grabbed his first pole position in his Corolla at Oberá. The four-time champion was over half a second clear of closest challenger Agustín Canapino in the Peugeot 408, with the Renault of Christian Ledesma the only other driver to get within a second.

Behind the top trio, Facundo Ardusso was fourth fastest for Equipo Fiat Petronas, leading team-mate Facundo Chapur, with Rossi’s team-mate Esteban Guerrieri qualifying sixth.

Chevrolet’s Franco Vivian, Peugeot’s Néstor Girolami, the privateer Chevrolet of Lucas Colombo Russell and Toyota’s Matías Milla completed the top ten.

The race is scheduled to take place at 12:35 ART.
