David Reynolds promises revenge on Garth Tander

David Reynolds was involved in a tough battle for a top five position with Garth Tander in the third V8 Supercars race at Winton, a battle leaving the Ford driver fuming.
”He has got the fighting spirit of a ***head. The bigger they are the harder they fall. Man, I’d love to do something to him,” said Reynolds in the V8 Supercars TV broadcast.

The Rod Nash Racing driver finished sixth behind Tander in fifth and was unhappy with the Holden Racing Team’s behaviour, not only to him self.

“I passed him into seven, let him hang around the outside at seven, we’ve got to turn eight he’s tried to, like, turn me around. I saw him try and put Scott Pye in the fence – Scott Pye should’ve turned him around and ended his day. And I should’ve probably done the same, so he got off lightly… It’s unacceptable behaviour from him and I will pay him back one day … he’s not a bad bloke off the track, so I can’t really go up and give him an elbow to the face,” said Reynolds.

Tander did not comment on the incident after the race and the stewards has not investigated the actions between the two.
