Date change confirmed for Qatar season finale

The FIA World Touring Car Championship season finale in Qatar has been moved to November 26-27th.

”I am very excited and looking forward to having the WTCC teams at Losail for their first ever night race. I promise my full support and my team will work closely with the WTCC to ensure an excellent and unforgettable racing experience,” said Nasser Khalifa Al Atya, President of Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation.

The races will be held at night on Friday the 27th of November on the Losail International Circuit that replaces Macau as the WTCC season finale.

“The addition of Qatar to the WTCC Calendar ensures a true world championship with representatives from all over the world in the field of motorsports. I would like to emphasise the importance of working with an international team of competitors, officials and participants,” said Francois Ribeiro, WTCC Director.
