Fredrik Ekblom makes it 0.001 seconds to Thed Björk

The title fight is on in the STCC season finale as Fredrik Ekblom closed the gap to Polestar Cyan Racing team mate and championship leader Thed Björk to just 0.001 seconds in the second test session of the season finale at Knutstorp.

BMW driver Fredrik Larsson is lurking behind the two Volvo drivers, albeit close to half a second behind.

Emma Kimiläinen, who provided to thrilling races at Solvalla two weeks ago, was fourth fastest ahead of Saab colleague Richard Göransson in fifth, with jus t0.002 seconds between the two.

Prince Carl Philip Bernadotte improved drastically from the first test session to claim sixth fastest time, 0.539 seconds from Volvo colleague Björk in the top.

Mattias Andersson made it to position seven for Dacia Dealer Team, with Erik Jonsson in eighth and Daniel Haglöf in ninth. Rasmus Mårthen was fastest of the Kia drivers in tenth position and the final driver within one second from the top time.
