Floods further delay action at Pergusa

Saturday’s program for the final round of the 2015 European Touring Car Cup at Pergusa has suffered further delays due to heavy rains and storms, with the Testing 2 session rescheduled now for 12:00.

Heavy rain flooded sections of the Sicilian track at 8:30, with a tree falling on the circuit due to the strong winds. This led officials to cancel the Testing session, due to take place at 9:00. The track has been cleared of debris, but still has a significant amount of standing water, which is hoped to disperse thanks to dry and warm current conditions.

The revised time table is as follows:

– 12:00: Testing 2.
– 14:30: Testing 3.
– 16:30: Free Practice.
