Nissan Motorsport unveil design for 2016 V8 Supercars season

Nissan Motorsport has unveiled the design for Michael Caruso’s #23 car for the 2016 V8 Supercars Championship season where they will field four Nissan Altimas.

“Today is a display of how heavily committed Nissan is to Australian motorsport,” said Nissan Motor Co. (Australia) managing director and CEO Richard Emery. “Elements from all three pillars of our local motorsport activities – V8 Supercars, GT3 and the Bathurst 12 Hour, and the Nissan PlayStation GT Academy program, were all at Phillip Island.”

Nissan’s drivers for the 2016 season will be brothers Todd and Rick Kelly, Michael Caruso and the newly signed Dale Wood.

The team showcased the design of Michael Caruso’s #23 Nissan Altima with the Nissan GTR GT3 also present at the unveiling ahead of the 2016 Bathurst 12 Hours in February.
