DG Sport Compétition announces Opel duo for TCR Benelux

DG Sport Compétition has announced experienced touring car racer Pierre-Yves Corthals and Frédéric Caprasse to share car in the 2016 TCR Benelux Series.

“The TCR championship is a great opportunity for me to show my skills and experience with the front-wheel driven cars,” said Corthals.

Corthals has previously raced in the FIA World Touring Car Championship while Caprasse has raced in various touring car and GT championships in Belgium.

The duo will drive the new TCR specification Opel Astra, with delivery of the car expected for April. The team has also announced a potential expansion to two cars in TCR Benelux this year.
