Jamie Whincup fined for burnout at Formula 1 weekend

Jamie Whincup has been given a fine for celebrating his race three victory of the V8 Supercars weekend at the Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix.

The Triple Eight Race Engineering driver won the race ahead of team mates Shane van Gisbergen and Craig Lowndes.

V8 Supercars drivers had been told prior to the weekend that no burnouts were allowed in the races at Albert Park.

Whincup will have to pay 3000 AUD for his victory celebrations.
