SEAT boosted by double podium at Mantorp Park

SEAT Dealer Team PWR Racing left the STCC races at Mantorp Park boosted by competitive pace and a double podium finish.
”The car is so much better than in the season start. The team made a really strong effort and we are starting to find our way right with the setup,” said driver Johan Kristoffersson.

Kristoffersson topped the two test sessions leading up to qualifying where he was second fastest in Q1 and third fastest in Q2. The first race saw the 2012 STCC champion finishing third while he retired from the second race in the gravel.

”If our performance curve continues like this we are going to be really strong for the next race at Anderstorp,” said Kristoffersson.

Team mate and team co-owner Daniel Haglöf had a strong race as well, claiming the final podium spot in the second race after fighting for the lead earlier in the race.

”I am really pleased with the development we have had between the races. To claim a double podium feels really good, the team really needed this,” said Haglöf.

The team is aiming to run three cars again for the races at Anderstorp with Emma Kimiläinen being forced to miss the race at Mantorp due to damage sustained from two crashes in the season opener.
