Karl Reindler to substitute for injured Lee Holdsworth

Karl Reindler will take over the wheel of the Charlie Schwerkolt Racing Holden Commodore of Lee Holdsworth who fractured his pelvis in the previous V8 Supercars race at Hidden Valley Raceway.

“We are excited to have Karl on board in this unfortunate situation,” said team boss Charlie Schwerkolt.

“Probably the only positive out of this is Karl will get some miles in our car, and he has been kind enough to change his commitments around to work with the team.”

There is no confirmation on when Holdsworth is expected to return, recently being transferred to a hospital in Melbourne.

Reindler was confirmed as co-driver to Holdsworth earlier this year for the 2016 V8 SUpercars endurance races.
