Richard Göransson on top in first Falkenberg test

Team mates and title rivals Richard Göransson and Robert Dahlgren claimed a Polestar Cyan Racing 1-2 in the first test session of the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship weekend at Falkenberg.

Göransson lapped the circuit in 43.390 and was over three tenths faster than his team mate.

Previous race winner Daniel Haglöf was third fastest, just five hundredths of a second behind Dahlgren.

Mattias Andersson was another step behind in fourth position for Dacia Dealer Team, 0.384 seconds behind Haglöf and 0.750 seconds from the top time.

Johan Kristoffersson, who won the first race at Anderstorp, claimed position five in his SEAT León, just below one second from Göransson’s time.

Fastest of the Saab drivers was Björn Wirdheim in sixth position, heading Flash Engineering team mate Linus Ohlsson in seventh.
