BMW Motorsport to remain committed to DTM in new motorsport strategy

BMW Motorsport has confirmed it will remain involved in the DTM in the coming years, as part of their new global motorsport strategy.

The Bavarian manufacturer has communicated their plans of returning to the FIA World Endurance Championship, a cooperation with Andretti FE in the Formula E with António Félix Da Costa, who will terminate his DTM career at the end of this season, as their official driver, as well as the continuity of their Customer Racing, Motorsport Junior, X Raid, and IMSA programmes.

Jens Marquardt, BMW Motorsport Director, said: “We will continue to focus on Europe in the DTM, and are looking forward to continuing the extremely close competition with the other premium manufacturers over the coming years.”
