Adam Morgan retains WIX backing for 2017

Adam Morgan will continue to run under the WIX Racing banner for the 2017 BTCC season after confirming an extension of his agreement with the leading filter company.

The Ciceley Racing driver has competed with WIX backing for the past three years in his Mercedes Benz A-Class, taking four victories and a best championship finish of seventh in 2015.

“I am over the moon that WIX Filters are continuing with us for 2017,” he said. “Our little family team is wholly dependent upon sponsorship and without our sponsors we simply wouldn’t be able to go racing, we fully appreciate the importance of all the teams associates and work hard all year to ensure that we over deliver on our pre-season promises.

“WIX Filters have been a massive part of our team and long may this continue, we are the perfect fit!”

Dave Warren, Managing Director of WIX UK, said he was pleased to confirm the new deal, with the focus being firmly on taking championship silverware during the year ahead.

“We have enjoyed a strong relationship with Ciceley and Adam Morgan over the last three years, and we are delighted to continue this into 2017,” he said. “The BTCC is a great fit for the WIX brand and the race weekends provide a fantastic experience for our guests.

“We are looking forward to carrying on the success achieved in 2016 into next season and being part of a team pushing for the Independents Trophy.”
