First TCR Audi delivered to Sweden and Brink Motorsport

The first TCR specification Audi RS 3 LMS has been delivered to Sweden and Brink Motorsport ahead of the 2017 Scandinavian Touring Car Championship.

The team is going to field two Audis for drivers Micke Ohlsson and Tobias Brink, with Ohlsson, who finished fifth overall in the 2009 STCC privateers’ cup, aiming high for the coming season.

”The car looks stunning. I can’t wait to get behind the wheel during the first test. I’ve got a really good feeling for the upcoming season. Audi has made an amazing job with the RS3 LMS, and preparations together with Brink Motorsport will make me and Tobias frontrunners in STCC. Count on it,” said Ohlsson to TouringCarTimes.com.

The team will start testing soon ahead of the coming season, with the first test planned for the south of Sweden in March.

“The hard work will start immediately. We’ve got an intense test schedule ahead. We will start testing at Ljungbyhed Raceway at the begining of March, which will be followed by an even more intense schedule in April. We will be really well prepared for 2017, that’s for sure,” said Brink.
