Steve Kirsch leads the way in Oschersleben pre-season test

Steve Kirsch was fastest in the first day of testing at Oschersleben, Germany. The Honda Team ADAC Sachsen driver, who came third in the championship last year, clocked a 1:34.407, which proved to be the fastest of the day.

Teenager Simon Reicher was a remarkable second in his Certainty Racing Team Audi RS 3 LMS. Pascal Eberle was the fastest SEAT driver in fifth for Steibel Motorsport, while American driver Jason Wolfe was the fastest Volkswagen driver, although he went no further than seventh for Team Engstler in his Golf GTI TCR.

Lubner Motorsport’s Dino Calcum was the fastest Opel Astra low down in eighteenth.

Action will resume tomorrow for two 90-minute sessions in the morning, after which teams and drivers will start the competition at the Motorsport Arena in Oschersleben at the end of the month.
