Opel Astra TCRs to lose power after Balance of Performance adjustment

After a dominant performance from the Opel Astra TCRs in qualifying in Bahrain, the TCR Technical Department decided to make some changes to the Balance of Performance measures ahead of the first race of the weekend.

The changes, effective immediately, reduce the power of the German cars to 95% of the original value.

Another adjustment to the ride height of the DSG-gearbox equipped SEAT León TCRs and Audi RS 3 LMSs has been made, as both cars will be allowed to run 10mm lower. For this weekend, the change applies to the only León TCR DSG of Icarus Motorsports’ Duncan Ende.

This is the first adjustment of the year to the Balance of Performance measures decided ahead of the season after a test in Adria, Italy.
