Colin Turkington declared the winner of Race 3 as Shedden is excluded

Colin Turkington has been declared the winner of the third race of the day at Donington Park, after Team Dynamics Gordon Shedden was excluded for failing the ride height test post-race.

Shedden’s car had immediately failed the test when the car pulled into scrutineering, but the Dynamics team had argued that Shedden’s car had failed due to damage sustained during the race.

Following further investigation, Shedden’s car was finally excluded by the stewards, promoting Turkington to first, with the Northern Irishman securing his first victory of the season.

Ciceley Racing’s Adam Morgan was promoted to second, with Subaru Team BMR’s Ash Sutton third.

Tom Ingram leaves Donington Park with the lead of the drivers’ championship on 86 points, with Turkington now second, 15 points behind, with Morgan now third, a further two points behind.
