Alastaro weekend ”insanely frustrating” for Robert Dahlgren

Robert Dahlgren lost the championship lead after the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship weekend in Alastaro, Finland, a weekend he describes as insanely frustrating.

”We were not strong enough to be in the top. We got the positions we deserved, that is where we are with the speed in the team. It is of course insanely frustrating,” said Dahlgren to SVT.

Championship rivals Kristoffersson Motorsport (KMS) had a clear advantage over PWR Racing at Alastaro, with Johan Kristoffersson winning all three races as well as securing a KMS 1-2-3 twice.

Dahlgren’s best result was third in the second race and is currently placed second behind KMS driver Fredrik Ekblom, five points behind.

”If you compare the success of the season start, we are quite a bit behind on the results from this weekend. But we still got away from it with points in all races and it’s eyes forward now, we are in the top to fight,” said Dahlgren.

Next up is Solvalla on June 16-17th.
