Petr Fulín wins in Germany as Schreiber punctures out

Petr Fulín went from second to first in the first race of the day at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, leading an all-SEAT top four, as championship leader and pole-sitter Christjohannes Schreiber suffered a puncture on lap two.

Fulín took the lead at the start and went on win comfortably by 8.6 seconds over Macedonian driver Igor Stefanovski.

Fábio Mota finished third in the LEIN Racing SEAT ahead of Zengo SEAT’s Norbert Nagy, while Peter Rikli finished fifth, the only Honda to make the finish after starting from the back after missing qualifying.

Mladen Lalusic was almost two-minutes behind, with the Serbian struggling for pace at the circuit, with Anett Gyorgy seventh in her SEAT León.

Andreas Pfister finished eighth and takes pole for Race 2, while Plamen Kralev finished ninth in the Kraf Racing Audi RS 3 after starting from the pit plane, while Zsolt Szabo ran into trouble but was classified in tenth.

Christjohannes Schreiber failed to score after his puncture, and will be forced to start from 11th on the grid for Race 2.
