Ledesma on pole for Chevrolet at Buenos Aires

Christian Ledesma was fastest in qualifying for the Super TC 2000 race at the Buenos Aires street circuit.

The Equipo Oficial Chevrolet YPF driver set the best time around the first street race around Buenos Aires since 1957 in his V8-powered Chevrolet Cruze, to pip José María López’s Pro Racing Fiat Linea by just under two-tenths of a second.

Facundo Ardusso was next up in the Peugeot 408, with Mariano Werner the top Toyota driver in fourth. Reigning champion and current points leader Matías Rossi was only 13th fastest in his Toyota Corolla.

The Super TC 2000 race takes place at 13:05 local time.
