Green and Mercedes fastest in Lausitzring warm up

Jamie Green headed the warm up session at Lausitzring for Mercedes, lapping the track in 1:19.267. The HWA driver was 0.049 seconds faster than team mate Gary Paffett in second and 0.339 seconds faster than Audi driver Filipe Albuquerque in third.

Mike Rockenfeller claimed position four ahead of Ralf Schumacher and Christian Vietoris. Bruno Spengler, who claimed pole position yesterday, was best BMW driver in seventh ahead of Timo Scheider and Edoardo Mortara.

Joey Hand in the Team RMG BMW M3 rounded off top ten, just over half a second from the best time of the session.
