Dahlgren fastest as Volvo dominates close second test

Volvo occupied four places in the top five as the second test session at Karlskoga Motorstadion was completed. Robert Dahlgren was fastest, just 0.040 seconds ahead of Volvo colleague Fredrik Ekblom.
“It feels good. There is a lot of work with the setup, but we are in the top and it is nice to be here with my Volvo colleagues,” said Dahlgren.

Richard Göransson managed to squeeze in between the Volvos in third, just 20 thousands of a second behind Ekblom.

Norwegian Tommy Rustad claimed position four with Thed Björk in fifth. Martin Öhlin was just 0.002 seconds behind Björk in sixth, with Robin Rudholm, who topped the first session, was seventh in the Flash Engineering prepared Saab 9-3 TTA.

Andreas Ebbesson, Linus Ohlsson and Daniel Haglöf rounded off the top ten while Haglöf had to spend the final part of the session in the pits after a minor collision with Citroën driver Jan Brunstedt.

Best Citroën driver was Stefan Söderberg in 11th, 0.949 seconds from the fastest time of the session.

Next up for the TTA drivers is qualifying tomorrow at 11.00 CET.
