No Daniel Welch at Rockingham

There will be no Daniel Welch during the British Touring Car Championship races at Rockingham this weekend.

The team has confirmed that they will sit out the race due to budget reasons, also posting the following tweet:

“It’s official I am afraid….the @WelchMotorsport Proton will not be taking part at Rockingham. Apologies to all the new Proton fans!!!”

But Welch will be back behind the wheel of the Proton in the two final races of the season at Silverstone and Brands Hatch.
